How much will VA pay my school?
To answer this question, you need still need
to know three things.
1. What percentage of the Post 9/11 GI
Bill am I entitled to receive?
2. How much is your school charging you
for tuition for a specific term?
3. How much is your school charging you
in fees for the same term?
Assumptions
To
answer the above questions, let’s assume the
following:
•
You are an undergraduate student attending
an approved program at a private
institution.
• You are enrolled in 12
credit hours for the fall term and your
school has charged you $4,000 for tuition
and $250 in fees.
• The GI Bill website shows
that your state maximum cost per credit hour
is $250 and fees is $1,000.
How much
will VA pay?
If you
are entitled to 100% of the Post 9/11 GI
Bill benefits, VA will pay your school
$3,250.
Example: You’re entitled to 70%,
the payment to the school would be $2,275
($3,250 X 70% = 2,275).
Yellow Ribbon Program: If you are
entitled to 100% of the benefits and the
private school participates in the Yellow
Ribbon Program, all or a portion of the

Q1. I am interested in a Boot Camp which starts on July
2 and ends on July. 18th. Which dates should I book my
flights for? |

A. |
Your Hotel will be reserved for you from July
2nd morning till July 18th noon. You should plan
to arrive on July 2nd and fly back on July 18th
night. You are most welcome to arrive earlier or
leave late.
This will cost you US $ 72 per night extra.
Training starts at 11.00 am on first day of the
boot camp. It is recommended you to arrive on
1st July evening if you are traveling long
hours. Mostly Boot camp finishes one day in
advance so you can book your flight for evening
on last day of camp.

Are the MCTS and
MCITP certifications replacing the MCSA and MCSE
credentials? |

A. |
No. The MCSA and MCSE certifications are not
being replaced. There is no change to the
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server
2003 tracks and certifications. The MCTS and
MCITP certifications are for Windows Server
2008.
New Microsoft Severs are rolled out with Windows
2008 Server operating system so Vibrant
recommends you to get MCITP Certified and learn
Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 Server
technologies.

Administrator?

No, not
exactly. The MCITP on Windows Server 2008
certification requires a new skill set—in some
cases, a more robust one—that differs from the
skill set needed for MCSA and MCSE
certifications.
- MCITP: Server Administrator
certification covers more operations-related
job skills than the MCSA certification.
- MCITP: Enterprise Administrator maps to
an actual job role profile, whereas the MCSE
certification does not. The latter combines
technology and job skills

valid? |

Technology Specialist (MCTS),

Professional (MCITP), and Microsoft

certifications retire when Microsoft
discontinues mainstream support for the related
technology. After a credential retires, it still
appears on your transcript but is listed as
"inactive." In most cases, an upgrade path is
available for people who have that credential,
which allows them to demonstrate their skills on
the newest version of the technology without
completing all exams associated with the new
credential. The following credentials will not
be retired: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
